Personal Story

I have been on so many different kinds of medication, I
can't keep track of them all. The first doctor I went to (for 2 years) ran
a ton of tests, but refused to give any medication. The 2nd doctor gave
drug on top of drug. At one point I was so doped up I couldn't remember my
age or own phone number. The third doctor, I see now, finally sent me to a
Rheumatologist. He is trying me on Vioxx, without much success. After that,
he said I will have to be on Deltasone, probably forever. I have taken
steroids before and the side effects were awful. He says that the dose was
too high. I am so fed up I don't know where to turn.
If any one out there has any good suggestions, I am all ears. Everyone
says I let this disease or combination of diseases run my life. All I would
have to do is do more exercise, and everything would be fine. Sound
Familiar? They don't have a clue what this is like. So I would love to be
able to talk to someone who is going through this too. Hope to hear from
someone soon.
