53 years old, but young at heart

Profession
(current or before illness)

I am a draftswoman/cad person. I do drafting on a computer. I've done civil, electrical, architectural and mechanical drafting as well as inside sales, estimating, and taught a blue print reading class at a vo-tech school at night to adults.

Personal Story

I became ill in 94 after the death of my mother. It started with "dizzy" spells (balance and drop in blood pressure/heart rate) and grew to include dyslexia, digestive problems, vision problems, hearing problems, brain processing abnormalities, seeing colors. Things that made me wonder if I was losing my mind or having a bad trip on drugs (I do not and never have done drugs, but figured this must be what a "bad" trip was). ŬI would not wish this disease on my worst enemy.

Special Interests

I read about everything, archaeology, history, medicine, current best sellers, anything that catches my eye. I do a lot of research on the internet on Chronic Fatigue and the long term affects on the organs and heart. I have probably read at least 10 of the top books on Chronic Fatigue to date.

Comments

Of all the things I miss, I miss my mind the most. I am the oldest of 9.
