Metal Toxicity Detox (for mercury, lead, aluminum)

This is a metal detox formula to use at home; received from my mentor and friend. She has guided much of my progress over the past 7-8 years: It came from Dr. David G. Williams' newsletter: Mountain Home Publishing, 1201 Seven Locks Rd., Rockville, MD 20854 (www.drdavidwilliams.com, 800.527.3044) Headquarters: Dr. David Williams, P.O. Box 829, Ingram, TX 78025 (800.211.8562).

Blend in blender:

1 clove garlic

½ cup almonds, cashews or other nuts

1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

6 tablespoons olive oil

Take two teaspoons a day for two to three weeks. Freezes well so make several batches. (Liquid 3:1 ratio of oil to juice. Add touch of hot water to scrape blender.)

Along with the cilantro mixture, take chlorella (Dr. Mercola recommends Biotics Research Chlorella Caps - 180 caps $19.50 through his website: www.mercola.com; three capsules twice daily for three weeks.

Both of these products will chelate metals out of the system.

Note: There have been warnings about purchasing chlorella from only a reputable source. Biotics Research is a very respected company.

About Liver Detoxification: Be sure to go to the following site and read the article on "The Liver Detoxification Pathways" (www.liverdoctor.com/03_detoxpathways.asp).

Carol Sieverling posted the following to CFS-FM-DFW egroup at yahoogroups.com: The following was posted to a treatment list that I follow. I know that such protocols, particularly those that can be done at home by yourself, are of interest to many members. Please be very careful with any detox protocol—many CFIDS patients are pathological detoxifiers—we don't do it very well and crash easily! (Probably from mobilizing more toxins/metals than our compromised systems can handle.) Some members have been told that even cilantro and chlorella are too potent for them. Consult a doctor, or at the very least, start out with a very small amount and stop if you get uncomfortably worse.
